Parks Canada is the federal government agency responsible for protecting and presenting Canada’s outstanding system of national parks, national marine conservation areas, and national historic sites. This process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures, security levels or linguistic requirements in same or other parts of the country.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in computer science or information technology.
EX1: Significant experience with web server administration (WebSphere / IIS / Apache);
EX2: Experience with designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise** application software architecture;
EX3: Experience with administration of Windows Server 2008+.
*Significant experience is defined as the depth and breadth of experience that would normally be gained over a period of three (3) years acquired within the past five (5) years.
** Enterprise indicates a user base greater than 50.

AEX5: Experience in administering and maintaining Jira 7+;
AEX6: Experience in administering and maintaining container-based applications;
AEX7: Experience in implementing and maintaining DevOps processes;

AEX9: Experience in implementing and maintaining Office 365;
AEX10: Experience in implementing and maintaining Azure or AWS resources.
