Intent of the process

The intent of this inventory is to create a pool of partially or fully qualified candidates that will be used to fill similar or identical positions with various language profiles, durations (term, indeterminate, assignment, secondment, acting appointment and deployment) and conditions of employment in Veterans Review and Appeal Board.

ED1 - A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives*
*The employer-approved alternatives to a secondary school diploma are:
- A satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma; or
- An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Degree equivalency

EX1 - Experience using Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Microsoft Teams)
EX2 - Experience responding to inquiries, both in-writing and verbally

AEX6 - Experience using medical and legal terminology
AEX7 - Experience providing financial support services
AEX8 - Experience providing human resources support services
AEX9 - Experience researching, extracting and compiling information from various sources
AEX10 - Experience booking work-related travel and processing travel claims
AEX11 - Experience providing administrative support services to management, such as monitoring and managing their email and calendar
