Our compensation positions consist of the following duties:
• Completion and entry of various compensation-related transactions into their corresponding processing system (for example, Peoplesoft and Phoenix) in accordance with the applicable pay policies and procedures;
• Liaise as required with internal and external stakeholders in order to communicate with clients about their compensation questions and issues in a timely fashion, and to clarify information to facilitate decision making on issues pertaining to compensation; and
• Verify and approve pay transactions, and provide project support on various compensation-related projects and initiatives, as required.

Intent of the process
The intent of this process is to fill fifteen (15) positions on an indeterminate (permanent) basis within the Director General Civilian Compensation and Benefits at National Defence.
This process may also be used to fill future vacancies in various locations with various employment tenures and language profiles within the Director General Civilian Compensation and Benefits at National Defence.

EX1: Experience providing client service in a fast paced environment
EX2: Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite
EX3: Experience providing administrative or clerical support
