Intent of the process
This inventory is for casual employment. Casual employment is a temporary employment of 90 working days or less, in a calendar year, to meet needs arising from such contingencies as vacations, sick and training leaves, to conduct special projects that are anticipated but dependent of the availability of funds, etc.
NOTE: Casual appointments are excluded from the provisions of the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). This means casual appointments will not be eligible to apply to internal appointment processes. In addition, the PSEA specifies that the number of days worked as a casual worker cannot exceed 90 days in a calendar year within the same department.

The information you provide in the questionnaire must be true. YOUR RESUMÉ WILL BE VERIFIED by Health Canada before each referral of your application, if you are selected for a position.
Any false and/or fraudulent information may result in:
1. the rejection of your application;
2. not hiring you;
3. the revocation of your job in the public service if you have already been hired;
4. Health Canada taking any corrective action it considers appropriate; and
5. in the case of fraud, in addition to the above consequences, you may also be subject to a criminal investigation and found guilty of a criminal offence
