Essential Qualifications
Qualifications that are necessary for the work to be performed and that must be met in order for a person to be appointed.
Education
. Graduation with a degree from a recognized university.
Experience
. Significant* experience in resource management (financial, people and material);
. Significant* experience in leading and supervising teams;
. Experience in project management of conservation-treatment, preservation or collection care of cultural heritage material;
. Experience in developing performance measurement indicators and reports;
. Experience in developing policy instruments (ex. procedures, guidelines, etc.);
. Experience in providing advice and recommendations to senior management and to internal and external stakeholders.
*Significant experience is described as full-time performance of duties in this domain for approximately three (3) years within the last five (5) years.

Bilingual - Imperative (CBC/CBC)
Asset Qualifications
Qualifications that are not essential to perform the work, but that would benefit the organization or enhance the work to be performed currently or in the future.
Education
. Graduation with a degree from a recognized university in a discipline relevant to the field (e.g. conservation, preservation management, collections care, etc. of cultural heritage material);
. Graduation with a Master's degree in conservation from a recognized university.
Experience
. Experience in conservation treatment of cultural heritage material.
