Work environment
The Faculty of Arts at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, invites applications for positions at the level of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor in the departments of Management & Economics, English, French Studies, History, Political Science, Military Psychology & Leadership.
The Royal Military College is a bilingual university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in the humanities, sciences and engineering to members of the Canadian Forces and civilians. The department offers undergraduate degrees and is a vital contributor to the War Studies graduate program, which grants degrees at the MA and PhD levels. Members of the department are currently involved in a wide range research in the fields of military, international, and social history, much of which is funded by national granting councils.
Kingston is a beautiful and historic city at the confluence of Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River and the Rideau Canal system. Easily accessible from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, Kingston offers a diverse array of local music, art, history, theatre and live entertainment that attracts thousands of tourists annually. Kingston has also been designated as a bilingual city by the Government of Ontario.

EDUCATION
A PhD from a recognized university within the specified area(s) of expertise.
EXPERIENCE
E1 - Acceptable experience teaching at the university level in the specified area(s) of expertise.
E2 -- Acceptable experience in publishing results of research in scholarly and peer-reviewed venues.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
AQ1 - High level of scholarly productivity in the area(s) of expertise as demonstrated by the publication of research in peer-reviewed and scholarly journals and presses
AQ2 - Considerable full-time teaching experience in junior, senior, and graduate courses, especially in area(s) of expertise
AQ3 - Experience with university administration and academic service
AQ4 -- Experience teaching at a military university
