Work environment

Our team is located at 73 Leikin Drive in Ottawa, Ontario (Barrhaven), in a modern building with plenty of free parking, convenient access to bus routes immediately outside of the building, free use of a gym and a cafeteria onsite.

Intent of the process

The immediate need is to staff one position on an indeterminate basis, with a linguistic profile of Bilingual Imperative (BBB/BBB) and an RCMP Top Secret security clearance.

A pool of candidates may be established and may be used to staff similar positions within the RCMP on an indeterminate or specified period (including term, acting, or assignment/secondment) basis, with various linguistic profiles and various RCMP security clearances.

Should a Civilian Member (CM) be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to the Public Service (PS) category for the CM.

A secondary school diploma or employer-approved alternatives.

Degree equivalency

EX1: Significant* experience in Property Management or Facility Management, and Project Management.
EX2: Significant* experience in analyzing and defining accommodation needs.
EX3: Significant* experience in negotiating solutions to real property issues.
EX4: Significant* experience in leading and participating on project teams and/or working groups.
EX5: Significant* experience in planning and implementing projects.

*Significant experience above is defined as having the depth and breadth of the experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of various complex related activities which would have been acquired over a period of three years or more.

AEDU1: Graduation with an acceptable degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a Real Property asset related discipline, Architectural, Engineering; OR successful completion of a professional designation program in the Real Property Management field

AEX1: Experience in delivering real property services within a policing environment.

Should your responses to the screening questions contain insufficient details to demonstrate that you meet the screening criteria, your application will not be given further consideration in this process. Candidates will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information.


Preference will be given to veterans first and then to Canadian citizens and permanent residents, with the exception of a job located in Nunavut, where Nunavut Inuit will be appointed first.
