Duties
Record, process and collect fees, issue permits, make reimbursements (sell and assign campsites where applicable). Work with the cash registry, compile and record statistical data, filling out forms, sales reports and bank deposits, and use a computer system or the point of sale and booking system.
Welcome visitors and provide them information and directions regarding the facilities, services, programs, attractions and regulations, in person, e-mail, or by telephone.
Work environment
Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada’s outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.
A limited amount of staff housing is available for students upon request as long as there are rooms available.
Students must be available (as a minimum) from mid/late June to September 4, 2023.

Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance
•Students must be available (as a minimum) from mid-June to the 04 September 2023.
• Must be willing to work irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays, when required.
• Must be willing to wear a Parks Canada uniform and prescribed protective equipment
• May be required to to possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Will be required to have your own transportation to and from the workplace.
• May be required to find your own housing in the area. Staff housing is limited and not guaranteed.
