Education

Master's degree from a recognized university in Library Science or in Library and Information Science; or graduation from a recognized university with a bachelor's degree in Library Science or in Library and Information Science for which another bachelor's degree was a prerequisite.

Experience

Significant and recent experience (note 1) in providing research or reference services in a library environment

Note 1: Significant and recent is defined as experience normally associated with full time performance of the duties for at least one (1) years within the last two (2) years.

Significant and recent experience (note 1) developing and conducting library training /orientation sessions

Note 1: Significant and recent is defined as experience normally associated with full time performance of the duties for at least one (1) years within the last two (2) years.

Experience in developing and delivering current awareness products/services

Experience in the use of social media (Twitter, Wiki, blogs, etc.) in a library environment
