Duties
Conducts a variety of cleaning/housekeeping/maintenance services.
Maintains and repairs cleaning equipment; replenishes cleaning supplies and services.
Work environment
May involve working in a correctional institutional environment with offenders and staff members.
Intent of the process
This inventory is for casual employment only, which is temporary employment of 90 workings days or less in a calendar year.

EDUCATION
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
EXPERIENCE
Experience providing cleaning services in either a commercial, multi-residential, or institutional environment

Possession of a current Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certificate
Experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment
Experience in the proper techniques and methods to clean up bodily fluids / biohazard spills
Experience providing cleaning services in a Health Care facility
Experience working in a correctional environment
Experience in the use of various software programs such as: Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook.
