Intent of the process
This process will be used to staff one indeterminate position. Meanwhile, a pool of candidates will be established and may be used to staff positions for determinate periods. This pool could be used to fill similar or identical positions within the Department of National Defense in Quebec area.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience providing administrative support services.
Experience in proofreading, editing or formatting various types of correspondence.
Experience applying policies and administrative guidelines or administrative procedures.
Experience working in a multitasking environment.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).

EDUCATION:
Post-secondary diploma in a field relevant to the duties of the position, in particular, office automation, administration and office management.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in the Federal Public Service.
Experience in budgets / finances.
Experience in preparing financial reports and providing analysis, including using a financial management system such as SAP.
Experience using PeopleSoft software.
Experience using SharePoint software.
Experience in information management / information technology.
Experience in processing and archiving documents.
Experience of Treasury Board travel policy and procedures
Experience of sections 32, 33 and 34 of the Financial Administration Act.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the organizational structure of the Department of National Defense.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
