Intent of the process

This inventory is for casual employment. Casual employment is temporary employment of 90 working days or less in a calendar year, to meet needs for temporary vacancies arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc. Casual appointees will not be eligible to apply to internal appointment processes. A secondary school* diploma.

*Secondary school refers to high school.

Degree equivalency

Experience:
E1) Experience in providing general administrative support duties (ie: filing, keyboarding, answering phone).
E2) Experience using Microsoft Office computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel) to create reports and spreadsheets.
E3) Experience working in a team environment.

Conditions of employment

• Reliability Status security clearance
• Possession and maintenance a valid driver's license (or personal mobility usually associated with having a driver's license).
• Some positions may require you to operate a government vehicle.
• Some positions may require you to undertake job-related travel with or without advance notice.
• Some positions may require you to work various shifts, including evening and weekends
• Some positions may require you to work overtime.
• Some positions may require you to lift and/or carry up to 25 kg.
• Some positions may require you to successfully complete the Canadian Firearms Safety Course
