This position is currently exempted from the Treasury Board Secretariat's return-to-office policy, meaning that there is no minimum number of days of presence required on site.

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in translation
(English to French).

Degree equivalency

EXPERIENCE:
- Experience revising quasi-judicial texts or other complex documents (e.g., technical translation or job descriptions) translated from English into French.

- Experience translating quasi-judicial texts or other complex documents (e.g., technical translation or
job descriptions) from English into French.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:
- Significant* experience translating quasi-judicial texts or other complex documents from English into
French.

*Significant experience is understood to mean the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with having performed a broad range of complex activities related to the position; this experience is normally acquired over a period of two (2) years. The amount, the complexity and the diversity of files handled, as well as the level of autonomy, will also be taken into consideration.
