What we are looking for

High school students who identify as women. Specifically, those in grade 11 or secondary 4 in Quebec and who:

  • meet the FSWEP eligibility criteria
  • will be a minimum of 16 years of age by July 2024
  • are interested in public safety and security
  • are passionate about helping people
  • demonstrate leadership and initiative

Conditions of Employment

  • The employment is for five (5) full days.
  • 1 week – full time (37.5 hours).  
  • You must be available from July 8 to 12, 2024 during the day for the entire duration of the program.
  • Parental consent to participate (if you are under 18).
  • Selected students must arrange and pay for their own travel and all other related costs if coming from another area/city than the job location.

 

 Additional requirements

  • You must have a Social Insurance Number before the start of employment.
  • During the internship, participants will have the opportunity to visit various government sites. This may involve walking and there may be occasional exposure to loud noises.
